Deathwing Terminator - brother Saul

This is my second finished deathwing terminator. This one is a regular squad member armed with storm bolter and power fist.

The armour for these guys was painted with an airbrush using --Bleached Bone.

Then I gave it heavy wash of -- Citadel - Seraphim Sepia followed by --Bleached Bone highlights.

Then for the final highlights I used -- Citadel - Ceramite White highlights.

Oto mój drugi ukończony terminator z formacji Deathwing. Ten jest zwyklasem uzbrojonym w storm bolter i power fist.

Pancerz tych kolesi pomalowałem za pomocą aerografu i farbki --Bleached Bone.

Następnie mocno go zwashowałem za pomocą -- Citadel - Seraphim Sepia, po czym ponownie rozjaśniłem --Bleached Bone.

Finalne rozjaśnienia zostały zrobione -- Citadel - Ceramite White.

Deathwing Terminator - Sergeant

Deathwing terminators are one of the cheapest terminators you can buy. Mostly due to the fact that they come with the starter set and many people want to get rid of them (if they're collecting chaos armies). Since I like terminators and already have 3 squads of them (1 regular, two from Space Hulk board game) I figured they would fit perfectly with my existing models, while providing some visual diversity. Also they would allow me to try some painting schemes different to what I usually have for my Onyx Knights Space Marines.

Since they are Dark Angels unit they're look is not as generic as a typical terminator marine. They have many chapter specific addons like wings, scrolls, censers, etc.

The first model from this unit is the squad leader. I had to make a little conversion here due to the fact that his power sword suffered in transport. I had a quick look through my bits box and came out with a power claw. It's not a standard weapon for a Deathwing sarge, but I think it looks nice on the finished mini.

Unboxing - Kataphron Battle Servitors

Kataphron servitors are recent addition to the fledgling Adeptus Mechanicus army. The moment I saw first leaking pictures of them I knew I had to get them! What stroke me, was how similar they look to Stroggs from Quake 2, and Quake 2 has been one of my favoutire games of all time. And now I can take them as allies for my Space Marines army :-)

Now it's finally the time to unbox the set and see what we get inside. Basically we have 2 major assembly options. One is for the CC unit, the Breachers, with smaller guns and more ammo. The other option is ranged unit with much more dakka - the Destroyers. If we choose shooty unit we can arm them either with big grav guns or plasmas. In the left hand they carry either a flamer or a phosphor gun.

Inside the box we can obviously find three bases. Those are standard Dreadnought sized bases. Included are also standard mechanicus decals.

I have chosen to assemble them as Destroyers, so you should expect photos of finished models in the close future.

Katafrońscy serwitorzy są najnowszym wypustem do raczkującej armii Adeptus Mechanicus. Jak tylko zobaczyłem pierwsze przecieki wiedziałem, że muszę ich mieć! Ich podobieństwo do Stroggów z Quake'a 2 było wprost uderzające. Quake 2 to jedna z moich ulubionych gier wszechczasów, a teraz będę mógł mieć quakowate stwory jako wsparcie moich oddziałów Space Marines!

Jako, że teraz przyszła pora na odpakowanie ludków zobaczmy co znajduje się w środku. Zasadniczo mamy dwie główne opcje montażu. Pierwszy to jednostka do walki wręcz czyli Breachers. Mają mniejsze spluwy ale więcej pancerza. Drugą opcją są zasięgowi Destroyers uzbrojeni w potężne giwery. Do wyboru są przerośnięte plazmy lub ciężkie grav guny. W lewej rączce możemy dać miotacze ognia albo karabiny fosforowe.

W środku pudełka znajdziemy oczywiście trzy podstawki. W tym wypadku są to standardowe okrągłe podstawki takie jak od Dreadnoughta. Dołączono również jeden kartonik z kalkomanią. Jest to standardowa Mechanicusowa kalkomania.

Do sklejenia wybrałem wariant Destroyers, więc w niedalekiej przyszłości powinny się tu pojawić fotki.
